A Parakeet With a British Accent....

Wait for it....

I'm having what I've started referring to as PTRD (Post Traumatic Rob Disorder). I'm on Rob overload. I can't think, I can't sleep, I can't eat. Eh, who am I kidding...I'm eating. But yeah, it's bad. I mean, how about that new trailer? Holy fuck! That shot where he's standing there with his shirt off and it looks like he doesn't have any pants on (we call that The Man V around my house)? I need a cupcake, right now!!! And then last night at the VMA's when he was all happy drunk and slurring his words? Adorable. We celebrated the adorable with shots of Jager and me blowing an airhorn inside the house. I am not going to be able to sit still during that movie. Hmmmm...maybe I should take an airhorn to the movie....

And then there was the season finale of True Blood. How fantastic was that? I seriously got tears in my eyes when I thought they were going to kill Sam. I was on a bit of an emotional overload, but still...it was too much! And then the way he totally rammed his horn into Maryann. Sick. My only complaint is Bill. I cannot freaking stand him. The whole second half of the episode, I was chanting, "Eric come kill him, Eric come kill him, Eric come kill him." And then he proposed? What the hell, yo? I wanna see Bill tortured. By Eric. Naked.

The Redskins did lose, which sucked, and my fantasy football team (Cracker's Crushers, named after my super totally cool parakeet) is in last place. It was not a good weekend for football. Meh...at least McNabb cracked a few ribs.

And speaking of parakeets....I read somewhere that the bird who had the world record for saying the most words was a parakeet. Soooooooo...after eating year old, moonshine soaked peaches on Saturday night, we decided that we needed to teach Crackrock to talk like Rob. How cool would that be? We started a list of phrases and I'm going to send Rob a tape recorder and ask him to repeat the list so that I can play it over and over for Crackers. Think it'll work? If you have any suggestions for Rob phrases my parakeet should learn, send 'em my way. My ultimate goal is that Rob will realize how totally perfect we are for each other and show up at my house one day (since my return address will be on the envelope). My psychic said that I was going to meet the man of my dreams this month, so I need to get on this shit, stat!

I Want To Suck Your Chest, Horney Style.

I didn't get the "me giving 2 thumbs up in front of the New Moon poster" picture. The theater was really crowded, we were late getting there, and on the way out we were so dumbfounded by the poofy-haired hippies riding horses that I forgot about it (don't go see Taking Woodstock, by the way. It sucked). Leighann and I were going to go back to the mall Saturday to buy Landen a mini Rogers 22 jersey, but apparently they don't make them for infants. Bastards. So, I need to go see another movie. Any suggestions? I think I've seen everything that's out that I wanted to see...

Anyway, I had a very relaxing weekend. Bought baby clothes with hedgehogs on them. Yep, hedgehog onsies. Absolutely incredible. I love hedgehogs. I love my godson. I love my godson wearing hedgehog clothes. I love it in the Twilight commentary when Bella's coming out of the bookstore and Rob asks if that's supposed to be him looking at her through the bushes and when they say no, he says it must be a hedgehog. Hedgehogs, Rob, Landen. Perfection.

We watched True Blood from 7:00 p.m. until 3:30 a.m and then again this morning after we got up. Season 2 marathon. It was quite spectacular and a wonderful refresher for the upcoming season finale. As you may have read in a previous post, I wasn't too happy with True Blood towards the middle of the season. I've changed my opinion. It's gotten super good over the past few episodes. One word...Eric.

So you know after the Fellowship guy blows himself up and Eric gets shot and asks Sookie to suck the bullets out? It was about 2 a.m. when we watched that episode and the following is a series of text messages between Brad (who was in Philly. Fuck Philly) Leighann, and myself.

Leighann: I want to suck ur chest, horney style
Brad: Oh god. What? I'm coming
Meg and Leighann to each other: "What do you think he means by that?"
Brad: I might jizz [sorry, I know that mental image is gross. But that's what he said]
Meg and Leighann to each other: "Oh."
Leighann (per Meg): Rob's way ahead of you. Better hurry!
Brad: I will. Oh I will.

I couldn't find a picture of the actual sucking.
This one'll do, and it doesn't have that bitch Sookie in it.

Bloodsuckers Anonymous...

True Blood is starting to annoy me this season. I don't know if it's because I read all the books and they're really straying from them or if it's because I'm abnormally obsessed with Twilight right now, but it's beginning to worry me. I truly love that show; like, look forward to it with an insane happiness. It's a bright light at the end of a sometimes shitty week.

So here are my issues:

1. Sam doesn't realize there are other shifters. He couldn't tell that the new waitress was one. He should be able to sense it!

2. Bill is a bitch.

3. Sookie has turned into an annoying airhead.

4. I don't like the maenad story. It was cool in the book, but wasn't the whole story line.

5. Godric is not Eric's maker.

6. Why is Jason with the Fellowship? I wanted to see what he looked like as a werepanther.

But, Alexander Skarsgard is bitchin' hot and overall, it's really a great show. I'm glad I read the books and I think I may go back and re-read them because the show is making them all fuzzy in my head.

For now, I'll go back to watching Twilight and cheesing out over Rob Pattinson. I don't understand the animosity between the True Blood fans and the Twilight fans...I'm cool with both. Equal opportunity hot vampire lover here! I'm cool with sparkles but like to see some blood every once in a while.

Sorry about the total fangirl nature of this first blog. But my goal with this is to write what's on my mind. And the fact that this is what's on my mind is probably a topic for a whole other post. For now, just enjoy Skarsgard in the tub and Rob there with his "I love you Meg" grin. Deep breath...and I'm good.
